A great way to start your day, this wheat berry breakfast cereal is rick in fiber, creamy and nutrient dense. Wheat berries can be prepared like oatmeal and make a healthy and filling breakfast.

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup Shipetaukin Organic White Wheat Berries
3 cups water
1 tablespoon cream or milk alternative
1 tablespoon brown sugar
Sliced fruit (optional)

DIRECTIONS:
Bring 3 cups water to a boil and add 1 cup wheat berries while stirring. Reduce heat to a low simmer and cook uncovered for about 1 hour or until they reach desired consistency. Drain any remaining water. Serve with cream and brown sugar! Top with sliced fruit (optional).
